Galloping Pigs 2002 Championships

This was a storming event. It was so succcessful, Static were swamped with orders for the game. And no wonder. As I have said before, this is a little gem. It's fun, it's fast, it's easy and it's daft. Anybody can play this game and anybody can win it. That's not to take anything away from our finalists - and indeed our champion - who consistently won through the qualifying rounds and staged a porker, sorry, corker of a final.

Congratulations to our champion:Andrew Wilson.

Andrew got his snout, er nose in front of the three ladies who contested the final with him.

In the end, second place was claimed by the solid, mature and careful play of Jane Foreman. She was pressed close by the younger talent on show but just edged out third place Sarah-Lee Simpson and fourth place Lori-Simpson.

Well done to everyone who took part. And a special vote of thanks to GM Big Pig himself, Gordon Lamont, who may have made this event a landmark feature of future conventions. Give us an oink and a squeal, lads and lasses!
