Conflagration

Conflagration is back for a second year. The convention is run by GUGS, the Glasgow University Gaming Society. It will be on the Saturday the 24th of February 2007 and Sunday the 25th. Last year entry was £3 for one day and £5 for both days and my understanding is that it will be the same this time around.

Conflagration is a general gaming con that has one-off RPGs, miniatures and CCG tournaments and open boardgaming. It is held in the Queen Margaret Union, University Gardens, Glasgow. The convention is open to non-students but unfortunately because the QMU is a licensed premises under 18s cannot be allowed entry.

Last year in the boardgaming section, we played Metro, Ingenious, San Juan, Ave Caesar, Memoir '44, Traumfabrik, Elfengold, Louis XIV, Ticket to Ride and many others. If you would like to try a specific game, we have a reasonable collection between us so we may have what you are looking for. Last year we had about 20 boardgamers between the two days.

There is a web site or if you would like to contact me about Conflagration, I have set up a thread on BoardGameGeek here.
